Welcome to Melodii. By using our website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or accessing the Service, you signify your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately terminate use of the Service.
2. Subscription and Payments (Melodii+)
Melodii offers a premium subscription tier ("Melodii+") providing unlimited features, offline caching, and high-fidelity playback. Subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchases. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is turned off in your Apple Account Settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in settings.
3. End User License Agreement (EULA) - Apple Store Compliance
Users are strictly prohibited from posting, transmitting, or sharing objectionable content or engaging in abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior. Melodii reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently delete user accounts that violate this standard, without notice or refund.
4. User Accounts and Account Deletion
To unlock cloud synchronization features, you must sign up for a personal account. You are responsible for maintaining password secrecy and account integrity. You may delete your account and all associated cloud-synced databases at any time. Account deletion immediately purges all user profiles and libraries from our database, and is irreversible.
5. Audio Source Disclaimer
Melodii resolves tracks from public audio platforms for simulation purposes. All metadata, titles, and album covers belong to their respective copyright holders.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Melodii shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

Melodii values your privacy. This policy outlines how your information is securely stored and synced across devices in compliance with Apple and Google developer privacy standards.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you provide to us, including your Name, Email Address, and Username. We also collect listening statistics (e.g. listening streak data, last listened date) and app library contents (recently played lists, custom playlists, saved albums, followed artists) to enable core app functionality.
2. Cloud Database Storage & Synchronization
We utilize secure cloud storage and synchronization services to save your user profile details and library JSON payloads. This allows you to restore your library instantly when switching devices or logging in online.
3. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We store your data for as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account and purge all of your personal details and music records from our database at any time. This option is accessible within the App Settings or via the Web Account Portal. Upon confirmation, all records associated with your email are permanently deleted from our servers.
4. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL, secure authentication tokens) to protect your data in transit and at rest. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.
5. Third-Party Services
Payments are handled securely via Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat. We do not store or process credit card numbers on our servers.
6. COPPA (Children's Privacy)
Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.
